Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick
Come all who are sick among you and the priests of the Church, will pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.
You are invited to join Bishop Patrick and the Clergy at Saint Barnabas Cathedral, on Sunday 1st November at 3pm.
This Sacrament is for Catholics, so if you know of someone who would like to come along, or if you would like to come but need some help travelling here to receive the Sacrament of Anointing, please do let us know.
We will also require volunteers with a car to help those who need a lift on the day.
Donations of cakes and biscuits would be most welcome for the refreshments in the Cathedral Hall following the Service.
Please pop this date into your diary and make it your ‘Mission’ to help those in our parish, who are in need of receiving this beautiful Sacrament.
If you can help in anyway, please contact the Cathedral Office either by email: [email protected] or telephone: 0115 9539839 ~ Extension: 7.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the whole parish to come together, around our Bishop.
