Each year over 100,000 people visit the Cathedral- people with or without faith- all will find a warm welcome and the chance to experience a little bit of peace in the heart of the city.
The Cathedral is open daily from 7am-6pm and entrance is FREE for all visitors. You are most welcome to visit the Cathedral during these hours and if you have time, we invite you to join us to experience the beauty of Catholic liturgy. A number of tours are available to help you appreciate this hidden Pugin Gem in the heart of Nottingham.
Literature is available at the entrance and information boards throughout the Cathedral, enabling you to make a simple self-guided tour.
If you would like a guided tour of the Cathedral and the opportunity to learn more about its architectural history and features, please contact the Cathedral Office and this can be arranged. Group and individual bookings can be arranged.
Keep an eye on our ‘Events’ page for information on unique themed tours and opportunities to explore the Cathedral through the generous support of parishioners and the Friends of the Cathedral.
The 2019 National Lottery Grant ‘Discovering Pugin’ enabled NTU to produce a full laser scan of the Cathedral building to create a 3D fly through model to be made of the building and demonstrates how the original building was constructed and visualises Pugin’s original designs. This ensures there will be a digital record for posterity and provide an invaluable resource for interpretation and eventually combining it with paint research analysis will allow us to appreciated Pugin’s original interior too.
