Retreat Day at the Cathedral
Children in Year 7 at the English Martyrs Catholic School in Leicester, part of the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, have been attending the Cathedral as part of a six week 'Retreat' with their School Chaplain, James Noakes.
The day provides them with a tour of the Cathedral and they finish with a talk in the Cathedral Hall before joining the lunchtime Mass, where some of the children have taken part by preparing and reading the Prayers of the Faithful, or as Altar Servers.
This week, the group were delighted to join Bishop Patrick and the Cathedral Chapter, at the Chapter Mass.
