Half Term Fun at the Cathedral

Restoring Pugin

Nottingham Cathedral is pleased to be offering a number of free family activities this May half-term.

Hosted by our Restoring Pugin Project Team, visitors will be able to take part in fun crafts and activities in the Cathedral Hall and then have the opportunity to explore the Cathedral, a hidden Pugin treasure in the heart of the City of Nottingham.

The following events are on offer:

Embroidery Art Workshop

Tuesday 28th May 2024, 10am-3pm, Cathedral Hall

Making something beautiful to take home by using a stencil to draw and then sew an outline of a shape inspired by Pugin’s decorative paint schemes in the Cathedral.

Ages 7 upwards. Free admission. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Arts and Craft Activities

Thursday 30th and Friday 31st May 2024, 10am-3pm, Cathedral Hall

Drop into the Cathedral Hall for Pugin-inspired arts and crafts with our Restoring Pugin team.

Free admission. No booking required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
